Hasley Investment Management LLP now offers its approach to asset management through an Open Ended Investment Company (OEIC) which hold two individual sub funds. The S&W Hasley Multi Strategy Fund and The S&W Hasley Diversifier Fund.
The Multi Strategy Fund aims to achieve long term growth by means of strategic asset allocation between a variety of asset classes, markets and strategies, while the Diversifier Fund aims to achieve positive returns by the use of asset classes whose performance is as unrelated to that of equity markets as possible.
Investment management in both funds is executed predominately through the use of third party collective funds for the following reasons.
-
To diversify risk. Each fund that is bought, itself invests in many underlying instruments with the result that an investor’s eggs are not all in one basket.
-
To harness the talents of some of the industry’s best fund managers. They do not all work for the same hose and need to be sought out.
-
To ensure easy access to a high proportion of low and non correlated assets, thereby reducing risk and volatility.
-
To provide a tax efficient framework in which to manage investments.
The Funds are administered by the highly regarded Smith and Williamson Limited and assets are held by the Bank of New York. The Trustees to the Funds are Royal bank of Scotland. More details can be found on our Fact Sheet and Simplified Prospectus, which should be read and any advice sought, before investment is made.
The funds can be held by individual investors, their Personal Equity Plans (PEPs), Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs) and Self Invested Personal Pension Plans (SIPPS)
